El nuevo rol de las fuerzas intermedias en AMBA

Abstract

A partir de la gestión de Nilda Garré como ministra de Seguridad, se ha podido observar un cambio en el rol de las Fuerzas Intermedias en la Argentina, como Gen-darmería Nacional y Prefectura Naval. Estas fuerzas comenzaron a desempeñarse en diferentes funciones en el territorio de la provincia de Buenos Aires, superponién-dose así a las de la Policía. El presente artículo es un primer avance del proyecto de investigación “El nuevo rol de las fuerzas intermedias en AMBA” que forma parte de los Grupos de Investigación de Ciencia Política (GICP) de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. El objetivo consiste en evaluar la formación que posee Gendarmería y Prefec-tura para trabajar en los barrios, analizar cómo esta nueva función impacta dentro de la fuerzas y para los ciudadanos, más el intento de dilucidar en qué medida —además de prevenir la inseguridad— las fuerzas se orientan a eliminar el crimen complejo.

Since the period of Nilda Garré like minister of Security is possible notice a change in the role of the intermediate forces in Argentina, specially in Gendarmerie and Naval Pre-fecture. This forces started to work in different functions in the territory of Buenos Aires, and they displaced the police of that functions. The present article is a first advance of the project of research “The new role of the intermediate forces in AMBA”, that is part of the group of research of Political Science (GICP) of Buenos Aires University. The goal in this work is evaluate the academic training that Gendarmerie and Prefecture have for work in the neigborhoods, analyse how this new function affect inside the forces and for the citizens, and try to elucidate in which measure, moreover of prevent the insecure, the forces are aimed to eliminate the complex crime.
